SW 533 - Research Methods in Social Work This course will involve completing a qualitative and/or quantitative research proposal to provide an understanding of a scientific, analytic, and ethical approach to building knowledge for social work practice. The content will prepare students to develop, use and effectively communicate empirically based knowledge. Research knowledge is used by students to provide efficient and effective services; to promote change; to improve or modify practice, policy and delivery of social services; and to evaluate their own practice. 3 hrs
