This training prepares our graduates for successful entry and achievement in graduate schools, professional schools of medicine, veterinary medicine, optometry and medical technology. This training provides preparation as well for our students in pre-professional curricula leading to entry in professional schools of physical therapy, occupational therapy, Medical Technology, and Physician’s Assistant school. As a service department to other science-related departments our purpose is to give superior biological preparation for students in pre-dental, pre-pharmacy, pre-dental hygiene, and pre-nursing. As a service department for students fulfilling their central curriculum science requirements in biology our purpose is to relate biological principles to improving quality of life for humans and to peaceful co-existence with all forms of life on earth.
