NM 601 - Advanced Pathophysiology

Presents the pathophysiology of organs and organ systems necessary to understand the bases of clinical problems. Emphasis is clinical presentation, the interaction of body systems in pathophysiologic states, and development and evaluation of appropriate healthcare strategies. Prerequisites: Admission to Louisiana College, the nursing major and MSN program, a successfully completed undergraduate pathophysiology course, and an unencumbered RN license. 3 hrs
