SW 605 - Advanced Clinical Practice

This course will examine and emphasize more specialized knowledge and skills for advanced clinical social work practice with individuals, families and groups. Assessment tools and skills as well as evidence-based interventions will be strongly presented in this course. Issues such as advocacy, professional identity and the social worker’s role will be reviewed. 3 hrs
