PY 220 Introduction to Psychology

This course will introduce students to the study of psychology. This course will explore the fundamental theories within psychology, the bases of behavior, human development, sensation, perception, learning, intelligence, motivation, emotions, personality, mental disorders and their treatment, and social psychology. These areas will be approached from theoretical, applied, and Christian perspectives. Prerequisite: Students must have passed EN 091  and EN 100  to be admitted to PY 220. Requirement may be waived with permission of instructor. 3 hrs
