PY 340 Social Psychology

Social psychology studies how individuals think, evaluate, and respond to experiences within social settings. Through the field of social psychology there is an attempt to understand perception, self-worth, attitudes, emotions, socialization, group influence, relationships, alturism, cooperation, persuasion, competition, aggression, prejudice, and discrimination. Social psychology studies these concepts within social and individual settings and attempts to understand how they make an impact individually and in society. Prerequisite: PY 220 . 3 hrs
