NU 332 Women’s Health This course focuses on providing an integrative, family-centered approach to the care of mothers and newborns. Emphasis is placed on normal and high-risk pregnancies, family dynamics and promotion of healthy behaviors in clients and their families. Common women’s health issues across the lifespan will be addressed. Clinical experiences provide the student an oppportunity to apply theoretical concepts and implement safe client care to mothers and newborns in a variety of acute care and community settings. 3 hrs Fee: $200
