This course is designed for educators to explore the nature and purposes of education from a thoughtful, critical, and philosophical perspective. The educator will explore the connection between philosophic perspectives and educational practices such as teaching methodology, curriculum, the role of the teacher and the student, and the nature of the learner. 3 hrs
