MA 095 Intermediate Algebra Polynomials, linear and nonlinear equations and inequalities, exponents, radicals, systems, relations and functions. For students who have studied algebra but are not prepared for MA 111 . Students with ACT Math score of 18 or lower are required to take MA 095. A grade of ‘C’ or higher is required in MA 095 before taking Math courses of 100 level or higher. MA 095 may be attempted only two times. After the second failure, the student must withdraw from Louisiana College for a minimum of one semester, and then the student can reapply for admission. If a student fails MA 095 during the Summer Bridge Program, the student will be permitted to attempt the course two additional times. 3 hours add-on credit. (Fee: $75)
