AH 306 Medical Terminology for the Health Professions

Cross-listed with NU 306 . This online course, designed to be a stand-alone medical terminology course, thoroughly and comprehensively covers the essential word parts and terms used in healthcare. Prerequisite: Nursing students to be at junior level, and with advisor approval. Allied Health students it is a pre-requisite, taken with advisor approval. Other science majors, the course may be taken with the approval of advisor. 3 hrs
