CM 421 Media Law

This course examines major legal and regulatory aspects facing media and society. Emphasis is placed on case law and the philosophical evolution of the First Amendment as it applies to media law as well as how the legal environment is influenced by advancements in media technologies. Prerequisite: CM 100, JN 201, CM 307. 3 hrs
