EN 101 Composition I Computer-based study and practice in the essential skills of correct and effective written expression. Emphasizes critical thinking, reading, and writing. Development of proficiency in writing using a variety of rhetorical modes. Writing as a process is practiced through drafting, peer editing, and revising. Students must score 18 or above on the English portion of the ACT exam to be admitted to EN101. English majors must earn a “C” or above to satisfy proficiency requirements to enroll in EN 102 . 3 hrs (Fee $40)
